The centre of Megève: at the historic heart of the resort

The traditional Alpine-style village of Megève is steeped in history and authenticity. Predominantly pedestrianised, the village centre is characterised by its elegant, cobbled streets, stone and wooden houses and buildings, and distinctive sacral architecture. In winter and summer alike, you can enjoy wandering around on foot or in a horse-drawn carriage, amidst buildings dating back to the 18th century, such as the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church with an iconic bell tower, the town hall and the tourist office. The shopping streets in the centre of Megève are packed with luxury boutiques (Dior, Hermès, Loro Piana, Façonnable, Moncler to name but a few), art galleries, cafés and a variety of restaurants (Savoyard, traditional, Italian, Asian and festive). For your Christmas holidays in Megève, the narrow streets are decked out in brightly lit decorations, creating a warm and magical atmosphere.

Our portfolio of luxury chalets for rent close to the centre of Megève means you can get to the village in just a few minutes’ walk, whether you want to access the ski lifts, dine in a restaurant or go shopping. Often with a private swimming pool, steam room or home cinema, these top-of-the-range chalets ensure a truly luxurious stay in Megève. Our chalets include Chalet Thanasis, Chalet Bouvier, Chalet Dakota, Chalet Deer and Chalet Samara.

Mont d’Arbois: luxury ski holidays in Megève

Far from the hustle and bustle of the village, the Mont d’Arbois district is a peaceful setting where the most beautiful and prestigious chalets in Megève stand side by side. Nestling in a magnificent panorama facing Mont Blanc, the famous Mont d’Arbois ski area combines wide open spaces with immaculate forests, providing a breathtaking backdrop for skiers and off-piste enthusiasts alike. This upmarket, cosmopolitan district, home to many hotels including the famous Four Seasons Megève, is popular for its proximity to the slopes, restaurants and family-friendly atmosphere. Close to the slopes or sometimes right on the slopes, our luxury chalets at Mont d’Arbois offer plenty of sunshine, uninterrupted views of the Aravis mountains and Côte 2000 and traditional Alpine exterior design combined with a resolutely contemporary style. They usually include a swimming pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, massage room and a home cinema: the ultimate in prestige and ideal for relaxing after a day on the slopes. In Mont d’Arbois, you’ll find Chalet Aspen, Chalet Sun Arbois, Chalet des Sens, Chalet Jaguar and Chalet Divinity.

Rochebrune: an unmistakeable family atmosphere in Megève

Located between a 5 and 15-minute walk from the centre of Megève village, the Rochebrune district still has a mix of authentic farmhouses, historic “skier’s chalets” designed by architect Henri-Jacques Le Même and more contemporary, state-of-the-art chalets. Also close to the slopes, Rochebrune is ideally located, so you don’t have to take your car to go skiing. A quaint neighbourhood, Rochebrune retains its picturesque charm as a family holiday destination. One of our flagship chalets in Rochebrune is Chalet Dana, less than a 5-minute walk from the pedestrianised centre. Thanks to its proximity to the town centre and numerous old chalets and small buildings, the Rochebrune district offers a unique opportunity to buy a chalet in Megève with a view to renovation and a significant potential increase in value.

Le Jaillet and Demi Quartier: magnificent views and great purchasing opportunities

Spanning the area from the Palais des Sports to the Portes du Mont-Blanc and La Princesse, Le Jaillet and Demi Quartier enjoy a unique location both close to the village centre and surrounded by nature. Renowned for their exceptional views of Mont Blanc and the village, Le Jaillet and Demi Quartier attract families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. While the authentic character of the area can be seen in the traditional wooden chalets, small buildings and old farmhouses, there are also more modern chalets on large plots of land with unique mountain views, such as Chalet Mont-Blanc, Chalet Ultima, Chalet Magic Megève and Chalet Marius. For property buyers, the slightly lower prices of Le Jaillet and Demi Quartier open the door to great opportunities, despite the scarcity of land that can still be built on. There is also plenty of scope for renovation and adding value.

Combloux: the best views of Mont Blanc

Located less than a 5-minute drive from Megève, the village of Combloux is a chic and charming ski resort. Boasting 360° panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, Combloux is rightly nicknamed the “Pearl of Mont Blanc” and is famous for the magnificent colors at sunset. The houses, farms and chalets built in the traditional Savoyard style bear witness to its history, which dates to the 13th century. With many shops, bars and restaurants, Combloux is a vibrant village with a mixture of permanent residents and summer and winter holiday makers. Its access to the Évasion Mont-Blanc and Portes du Mont-Blanc ski areas makes it an ideal destination for a skiing holiday. Luxury chalet rentals are becoming increasingly popular in Combloux. The construction of some very fine chalets in recent years bears witness to a real property boom, with a blend of luxury chalets and more traditional properties. The added bonus is that the chalets are cheaper to rent or buy than in Megève, but still offer all the facilities of the neighbouring resort. Some of our most prestigious chalets in Combloux are Chalet Panorama, and Chalet Olympe.
