Emerald Coast/Costa Smeralda

PORTO CERVO

Porto Cervo is the heart of the Emerald Coast/Costa Smeralda, a favourite destination of the international jet set. It is in a way the Italian Saint-Tropez. Founded in the sixties by Prince Karim Aga Khan IV and the architect Luigi Vietti from sketches by Jacques Couëlle, this small port is also known for its luxury boutiques, its marina which can accommodate numerous yachts and its festive nights in the legendary clubs such as the Billionaire founded by Flavio Briatore and the Sottovento.

PORTO ROTONDO

Porto Rotondo is smaller and a little quieter, but also has a beautiful environment both on land and sea and is more reasonably priced than its neighbour Porto Cervo. Also created in the 1960s in a Venetian style, it can accommodate many pleasure boats.

BEACHES AND COVES

Between Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo there are several beautiful beaches and coves suitable for sailing and coastal navigation. This is also where the famous Cala di Volpe hotel is located, where many celebrities such as Princess Diana have stayed.
