Partly decorated by the renowned interior designer Axel Vervoordt, Chalet Tao instils a feeling of calmness, simplicity and purity. The décor is a skilful blend of furnishings, works of art and objects from various periods successfully combining antiques and modern and contemporary paintings. Stylishly simple, it has a distinctive, very welcoming chalet feel, particularly in the living room beneath the beams. Nature is also an integral part of the look and feel with the grand entrance adorned with magnificent tree bark and the birch bunk beds in the children’s bedroom.
As soon as you step into the entrance, the chalet’s monumental staircase and spacious volumes in all the rooms create an impression. Spanning approximately 900 m2, Chalet TAO extends over 5 floors served by a lift. There are 7 bedrooms comprising 6 doubles and one for children with 2 bunk beds (4 beds). The dining room which is also very spacious, can accommodate more than 12 people thanks to the table extension. The kitchen is aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly with a bar/central island, a large dining area for breakfast and a utility room.
On the garden level, continuing in the minimalist style the relaxation area boasts a large swimming pool with bay windows, a steam room, and a massage room. There is also a small gym and a home cinema in the basement. Located in Mont d’Arbois, close to the golf course, Chalet Tao is ski-in ski-out as well as providing an outstanding view over Val d’Arly and Côte 2000.
