Entrusting internationally renowned artists with the design of the chalet’s structural elements, floors and walls, as well as the decoration of bedrooms and living areas, they have imagined a “magical” place as much as they have designed a luxury chalet to rent. Here, all is wonder, surprise and curiosity. And a multitude of artworks and installations punctuate the space. Treasures of originality and eclecticism that nonetheless find their meaning and unity, from Mike Nelson’s sculptural staircase to Conrad Shawcross’s hypnotic lighting, not to mention sculptures and installations by Antony Gormley and Darren Bader.

All the codes of the traditional chalet are shaken up here, but the highest standards of luxury and mountain living are still respected.
